A LETTER FROM RICHARD GOODALL TO ALL PROSPECTIVE EXHIBITORS OF CLASSIC VEHICLES FOR THE SEPTEMBER OPEN DAY
RE: Statfold Barn Railway Open Day 8th September 2018
We are inviting you to our open day for 8th September 2018.
We make it a weekend event where you are welcome to arrive on the Friday afternoon and stay until Sunday afternoon.
The main day of the event is Saturday and there will be a night run (weather permitting) of the train that evening for exhibitors only.
We ask that all exhibits are cleared by Sunday afternoon or they can be left by prior arrangement.
There will be four exhibitions passes issued for steam vehicles to cover the crews. Two exhibition passes will be issued for all other vehicles i.e. miniature steam, cars, Lorries m/cycles etc. Unfortunately, we cannot admit children under 10 years of age onto the railway. Should you wish to bring along additional guests extra passes can be purchased at £10.00 each. Cheque made payable to: -
“Statfold Narrow Gauge Museum Trust Ltd”
I must stress that this is a Charity Event run by the Lee Family and any proceeds go to charity, therefore no Appearance Money will be paid but coal will be provided for steam vehicles only. We are currently changing to Museum status and at present we have a limited budget and would therefore appreciate any donations. It has been suggested that all exhibitors donate £10.00; if this is something you feel you are able to help us with it would be most appreciated and would ask you to please include with your application.
I enclose a booking form for you to complete if you wish to attend. The closing date for returning the completed form is 1st August 2018, could you please also enclose an SAE.
If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me on 07967 753095.
Many thanks for your time.
