Rolling Stock
In addition to the historically important collection of locomotives, Statfold is also home to some fascinating items of rolling stock. These range from a railcar of a type which saw service in the First World War to goods wagons previously used to move munitions around storage sites in remote locations in England and Wales to a 19th century passenger carriage which spent many decades in use as a tennis club pavilion after withdrawal from railway use. There are also a number of carriages used to provide train rides on the Garden and Field railways during Enthusiasts’ Days.
